Earl T. Medansky

Earl Medansky joined Gomberg, Sharfman, Gold & Ostler in 2008 as of counsel after nearly forty years of practice. Medansky’s practice is primarily transactional work in the areas of business, real estate and personal representation of his clients. He has represented many local businesses in planning, organization, contract, leasing and merger and acquisitions of businesses mechanic lien claims and disposition. His real estate practice has included representation in all facets of residential, commercial and industrial acquisitions and sales, including complex sales agreements, leasing and exchanges. He deals in regional shopping center leasing, condominium documentation for developers and represented the United States Marshal’s Service in the disposition of forfeited property. He has worked for developers, architects, contractors, restaurateurs and has extensive experience in dealing with various administrative agencies. In addition to his legal work, Medansky maintains licenses as a real estate broker, insurance broker and is an agent for both Chicago Title Company and First American Title Company.

Medansky is a past master of his Masonic lodge, a member of Scottish Rite and the Shrine. He has been a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association.
