Kimberly A. Padjen

Kim Padjen has over twenty years of experience dealing with real estate and foreclosures of commercial, residential, and industrial properties and has been with the firm since May of 1988. Kim routinely counsels lenders to determine their best options in handling delinquent mortgage assets through either litigation or workout options. Kim has dealt with a variety of issues in litigated mortgage foreclosures including priority disputes, title claims, equitable subrogation, and appointing receivers or mortgagee in possession. In addition to litigating foreclosure matters, Kim routinely assists lenders in determining the best workout option, including loan modifications, workout plans, short sales or deed in lieu of foreclosure. In addition, Kim handles other legal matters that lenders may have relating to real estate including building code violations, administrative hearings, and delinquent real estate tax issues.

Kim was recently honored with an award from Chicago Volunteer Legal Services in 2008 for Distinguished Service. Aside from her work with CVLS, she also enjoys staying actively involved with her sons’ schools and sporting events.
